Vidya Ranganathan is Founder and Principal Researcher at Au Labs. Vidya has more than 25+ years of research and development experience across the industry in systems, cloud and artificial intelligence. Vidya is Baccalaureate in Engineering and Master’s in Science from Birla Institute of Science and Technology.
Vidya started her career in 1998 in IBM. At IBM she got hands-on into the Operating system stack encompassing of various frameworks and subsystems including but not limited to virtualization, clustering, performance, distributed systems, performance, security and Watson AI. Vidya also earned the prestigious IBM Master Inventor title which was First of a Kind in the geography with 40+ filed patents of which 25+ of them are granted. She has also authored a book : “Under the hood of Algorithms” which talks about data structures, algorithms, and importance of hashing in world of security.
Recently at NOKIA/Bell & Intel she has worked on Kubernetes native and Robotics research. The inception of Au Labs got kicked off due her calling towards k8s.AI.
